General Services:
The Library has copy machines for public use. Copies are 10 cents per page for black and white and 25 cents per page for color. Patrons may also copy files to a USB drive and print from USB drives as well as scan items to their email.

The Library has a fax machine located near the Circulation desk, which can be used to send domestic faxes. The cost is $1.25 for the first page, $1 for each additional page. Please see a clerk at the Circulation desk for assistance.

For patrons with low vision, the library has LifeStyle CANDY, a handheld electronic video magnifier that helps people with low vision read printed materials like mail, magazines, newspapers, menus, catalogs and much more
We also have one public computer with a ZOOMTEXT magnifier, which enlarges and enhances everything on your computer screen, making your applications easy to see and use. There is a   large type keyboard for use as well.
The library also has a Microfilm/Microfiche reader available.

Computers:

Adults: The library has eight public computer workstations available in the Adult Reference area that offer internet access and Microsoft software. Patrons can sign into these computers with their Babylon Public Library card or a valid Suffolk County Library card and the last four digits of their phone number. Printing is available from the public computers for 10 cents per page in black and white, 25 cents per page for color printing.

Patrons may bring in their own laptops/devices and access the public wireless (Wi-Fi) network.

Children: The Children’s Department has two laptops that offer internet access and Microsoft software with printing capabilities.

There are ten iPads that are for use for programming with the Dot and Dash robots and which are also loaded with educational games.

There is a Peek-a-book module which children can access with headphones and listen to a book being read aloud.
