Local History Reference Collection
The library has wide range of local history books including books on the history of Babylon and the history of Long Island . The library has a collection of Babylon High School yearbooks dating back to 1938. The library maintains the following newspapers on microfilm:

The South Side Signal from 1869-1879 and the Babylon Beacon from 1967-1972 and from 2010-2018 were digitized and are part of the NYS Historic Newspapers.
